Kankakee County is made up of 19 municipalities (two cities and 17 villages), located within 17 townships.
The central area of the county, comprised of Kankakee, Bradley, and Bourbonnais, is our largest pocket of population, with over 52,300 residents. Over the past five years, however, there has been a strong, steady surge of growth in the outlying communities of Manteno, Aroma Park, and Momence, as well as in Limestone Township.
